The Aerospace Electronics and Instruments Laboratory (AEIL) is part of the Seismology and Geodynimics group at the Institute of Geophysics, ETH Zürich Switzerland. The laboratory is in the NO building of ETH Zürich, (Zurich city center campus).
AEIL is involved in a number of aerospace projects, developing high-quality aerospace electronics and instruments. The main focus of AEIL is the ultra low-noise analog/mix-signal electronics design for the very low-frequency band and high resolution data acquisition systems, used in the planetary seismology and aerospace missions for fundamental physics.
AEIL was involved in the ESA LISA Pathfinder mission and the NASA Insight mission to Mars. Moreover, it is currently involved in the Laser Interferometer Space Antenna (LISA) mission from ESA.
